And to cap an outstanding month of hockey for the Winnipeg product, O’Donnell was also named the MJHL’s Husky Energy Rookie of the Month. The 17-year-old centre put together an impressive 20 points (10-10) over an 11-game span last month.
O’Donnell also leads all rookie scorers in the MJHL with 25 goals and 50 points. This has been a season to remember for O’Donnell, who recently represented Team West at the prestigious Prospects Game, in addition to suiting up for Team West at the World Junior A Challenge. |
